The recent abatement of Winter and unexpected appearance of the Sun had kicked Spring into a sudden and energetic high gear. So I set out on a safari looking for appropriate Spring-themed photos for the April wallpaper in a friend’s backyard.
Backyard is a bit of an understatement. While I have squirrels and the occasional raccoon in my yard, she has deer and the occasional bear. Clearly, in the backyard wild kingdom battle, she wins.
Tromping along the trail, I paused to compose a shot of a prominent blossom when I heard my guide exclaim “froggy!”
After the requisite frog-wrangling, I discovered the little fellow to be quite cooperative. Snapped a few frames and sent him on his way.
