Seven-Layer Mist

January proved a challenge weather-wise. We had a stretch of super dense fog that almost alternated with clear and cold. The foggy mornings were too foggy to see the trees in this shot, the clear mornings were too clear with no fog or mist in the trees.

Then finally one morning, no wind, no dense fog and a clear view across the foothills to the base of the Cascades. I really like the visual layers in this image, especially the high-tension power lines.

Cheers, Paul
