Quite surprisingly, it was a rainy day that I was out in Mason County near Shelton looking for a picture to use for June’s wallpaper. I was taking shelter under a massive cedar and spotted these tiny purple flowers. Looking around online, they appear to be appropriately called “bugleweed”.
I like how the dab of pollen looks like eyes – it almost gives the petite bloom a menacing look.
To set as your desktop wallpaper, Internet Explorer users can click on the link so that it opens to full size. Right-click on the image and select “Set as background”.
Google Chrome users will need to download the Chrome Toolbox to enable the same functionality.
