It’s been a crazy month – I don’t think I’ve even picked up my camera so here’s a shot from the archives, so to speak.
Two summers ago we went to France for vacation, and spent a day exploring the Palace of Versailles. It was packed with tourists so we took our exit and headed for the garden. A short mini-train trip to the Grand Trianon was in order.
The first thing we found there was a total lack of people. I completely understand how this place was used as an escape from the formality of the main palace. A perfect place to just get away and relax.
This picture is of the garden, with the pink marble pavilion in the background.
The details: Nikon D-90/Nikon 50mm f1.8. Exposure iso 200, 1/800 @f4.0
